Log-off windows

Meta Harness surfaces no work to you and refuses the tasks and agent turns you start by hand inside these times, every day. Background work keeps running. A window that ends before it starts runs overnight into the next day.

Off hours

The evenings and weekends around the log-off windows. Work is available inside them, but only after both conditions are checked off on Current focus; a check-in can ask to be checked on again after a few minutes. A window that ends before it starts runs overnight into the next day.

Agent start capacity

New agent work waits when any machine-pressure boundary is reached. Estimators use the tighter headroom ratio and shed first.

Planning limits

What each project priority means. A backlog cap bounds how much work waits at once and a pace bounds how much is started over a window; both are ceilings, so nothing proposes work to reach them. A project at either limit still takes bugs and breakage. Leave a pace empty for a priority that keeps none.

Agent models

Which model each provider runs when a task asks for Default, High intelligence or Low intelligence. Meta Harness checks what the installed Claude and Codex CLIs will accept once a day, and again whenever Claude Code updates, since that is what decides which models exist. Leave a preset empty to let the CLI choose for itself.

Agent sign-in

Start a sign-in for either agent, on this Mac or on the EC2 worker, without waiting to be asked. Each one keeps its own authorization link and code field, so two sign-ins running at once do not take each other's place. Claude returns a code to paste back here; Codex shows a device code to enter on its own authorization page.

Dashboard responsiveness

Every gesture is timed from the click to the frame the dashboard settled on. Anything at or over the budget is recorded here and degrades harness health, so the watchdog diagnoses it. The strip is the retained daily record, one cell per day, so a run of clean days is readable without reconstructing it from past incidents.
